St. Patrick's Day and Lava Lamps

We had some surprising things happen in our classroom. When we walked in today it was clear the leprechauns had been here!

We found footprints everywhere, even on the window! Our chairs had grown, and changed color, however we found out that a 4th grade class had chairs that were shrunk and were the same color as our old chairs. We couldn't figure out how leprechauns were able to move all those chairs, although we had some good ideas such as taking them out the window, or using magic. There were cookies on the desks, and a whole bag of golden coins that were filled with chocolate. It was a very eventful morning.

Our science experiment today was also a lot of fun. We made lava lamps using water, food coloring, glitter, oil, and alka-seltzer. They turned out really cool!

It was a great day!
