First Day of School!

We had a fabulous first day of school!

Please check your student's backpack for their new red folder. The red folder needs to be returned to school daily, this is how important information will be sent home.

I look forward to a great year!

Only 31 Days Left on Our DonorsChoose Flexible Seating Project

Our project ends on Dec.16th, please help us get flexible seating. We need flexible seating to meet our diverse learning needs, and create a inviting, comfortable, and successful classroom.

Every little bit helps our class. Please share with others who may like to contribute to our classroom.

This is a great option for supporting our classroom during the holidays.

End of the Pumpkin Unit

We have had so much fun with our pumpkin unit! A huge thank you to Mr. Rob for dropping pumpkins off the roof so we could test our inventions, and a huge think you to all of our pumpkin patch chaperones.

Here are some pictures and videos of the spectacular event!

First we discussed that farmers need to get their pumpkins safely to stores to sell. Then we practiced being inventors who would protect the pumpkins if they fell off of the truck on the way to the store, and thought of a plan. Then we created our pumpkin protection devices.

Then we let Mr. Rob take them to the roof to test our inventions...

To wrap up our pumpkin unit we went on an awesome field trip to the pumpkin patch! Thank you to all of the chaperones who were able to go with us on this adventure!

When we returned from the pumpkin patch we painted our pumpkins and had a great time sharing.
